Infill Tiny Homes

Improving density in existing neighborhoods

New construction in an existing neighborhood can do wonders to revitalize a neighborhood. The cost of building a larger traditional home in an older neighborhood is often avoided because of the construction cost compared to the assessed value of existing homes. Building a smaller home that meets the needs of seniors that wish to remain in a neighborhood, but in a smaller footprint with less upkeep, also makes larger homes available for families needing the additional square footage. Many tiny home designs  are easily adaptable to meet ADA compliance for those with mobility issues.

Making homeownership an option for those with median incomes often will directly benefit minorities and provide a path to building generational wealth. Tiny homes also provide an option for younger workers to invest in their homes and build equity. Something that is not available to those paying rent. This equity can later be used as a down payment to purchase a larger home if their family size increases.
